Your use of the platform is an explicit acknowledgement that any arrangements between coaches, managers, schedulers and officials is a direct business arrangement for which HireARef makes no guarantees or representations about the suitability of any official and/or the legitimacy of the organization requiring officiating services.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using HireARef.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Description of Service
HireARef is a marketplace connecting sports officials with coaches, managers, and scheduling associations for officiating assignments.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. User Conduct
Users agree to use the platform in good faith, provide accurate information, and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
5. Payments & Fees
Certain features of HireARef may require payment. Fees and payment terms will be clearly disclosed before any transaction.
6. Platform Communications
By creating an account, you agree that HireARef may send you email communications related to the platform — including account and security notices, policy or safety updates, and operational announcements — to the email address on file. If you are a member of an association on HireARef, that association's scheduler may also send you email communications on HireARef's behalf regarding your participation with that association.
These platform communications are not optional marketing and do not have an opt-out setting; they are a condition of maintaining an active HireARef account. If you no longer wish to receive them, you may deactivate or close your account.
7. Limitation of Liability
HireARef provides a platform for connecting parties and is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of officiating services.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
